Roberto Dario Brandan
Independent visual artist with several awards in drawing and painting competitions. His work has been exhibited in multiple national cultural centers and international venues. Roberto is a painter, pencil artist, muralist, and Fileteador. He started learning Filete Porteño in 2012 with mentors Sergio Menasche, José Espinosa, Alberto Pereira, and others. His work has been acquired by art collectors all over the world including Spain, Belgium, Ecuador, Turkey, and the US. But as a true traditional Fileteador, one thing that makes him more proud is to see his art decorate public transportation buses going up and down the streets of Buenos Aires every day.
Roberto started learning art techniques at age 13 with artist Rosa Salverninni who was his teacher for 5 years. Then he went on to study at the Escuela de Arte Republica de Italia in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires province. Since 2017 Roberto has taught workshops and seminars on Filete Porteño techniques.
